Information &
Daily Schedule
In this
exciting class, students get to explore music though our Music
Play and Music Time curriculums students learn about
movement, echoing, rhythms, play acting, and get to experience
a wide variety of age appropriate musical instruments. The
art program, taught by our certified art
teacher, gives the children a “process” based
art experience. They can see what happens when colors mix,
feel dough in their hands and develop their natural creativity,
and let their imagination soar, while also learning the basics
of art. Students are able to experience many different types
of art media throughout the course.
Our day is similar
to a typical preschool day. We have centers upon arrival,
and then the morning is divided into two groups, where one
group will experience instruction in music and the other in
art. Midday we take the children outside (weather permitting)
to play on the playground. This is followed by our lunch time.
After lunch the groups switch and go to art or music. Our
day concludes with story time.
