According to his promise in Revelation 3:20 "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."
As well, God tells us in Hebrews 13:5 "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
We know that Christ is in the heart of the believer through the trustworthiness of God himself, and through the truth found in His Word.
