The Leadership
Team oversees and supports the BOB Ministry Teams, allowing
them to remain focused and effective in their specific tasks
and projects.
 Goals
and strategies
In order
for Band of Brothers to remain focused and effective, we will
strive to ensure the initiatives we undertake comply with
the following:
- Band
of Brothers will focus its efforts on ministries that can
clearly define how they advance God's Kingdom.
- Band
of Brothers will have clear connections to the five main
threads of McEachern UMC - Discipleship, Missions, Evangelism,
Worship, and Stewardship (Resources).
- Band
of Brothers will have clear challenges for each participant
to move beyond their current level of faith.
- Band
of Brothers will emphasize reaching outside the walls of
McEachern with activities that draw in the unchurched.
- Band
of Brothers will support all its ministries with prayer.
- Band
of Brothers will examine each ministry to ensure it advances
God's Kingdom and aligns with McEachern UMC's new vision
(as it is rolled out).
- Band
of Brothers will ensure that every external ministry we
undertake includes a specific component of sharing God's
Word.
The goals
and strategies will be delivered through three Action plans
each action will consist of several different tasks(activities)to
carry out each plan.
