Community
Outreach Team – To share the love of Christ
Jesus while assisting families in our community during difficult
financial times.

Pray with people on the phone and/or during scheduled
sessions.

Interview for financial assessment and determination of
needs.

Coordinate our Special Programs Team on Thanksgiving and
Christmas food baskets and gifts for 60 or more families.

United
Methodist Women (UMW) – To support the needs
of women and children at home and worldwide.

Women who wish to serve God through mission work and at
the same time develop a fellowship with other women in
the church.

We currently have three circles that meet monthly and
desire to serve others.

Car
Care Ministry - To meet the needs of others through
automotive care, maintenance and acquisition of reliable
used cars.

Mechanics able to do minor repairs on vehicles.

Christians able to communicate God’s love to those
we serve.

Prayer ministry for the needs and emotions of those we
serve.

Meets 4th Saturday of each month – 8:00 a.m. until
12:00 noon.

Meets in the barn (behind the ball fields).

United
Methodist Men (UMM) – Our purpose is to help
Christian men unite together to celebrate and serve the
Lord through fellowship, discipleship and missions.

Volunteers for manpower and mentoring for local and regional
ministries to youth and children. (ex. Mountain Top Boys’
Home, Murphy Harpst Children’s’ Home).

Disaster Relief to Gulf Coast and Sager Brown in Louisiana.

Communications director and Bible study leaders.

Meets first Sunday every month at 8:00 a.m. in Oaks Hall
for Men’s Breakfast.

Handy
Man Helpers – Our purpose is to reach out
to the community in the name of Christ by doing minor home
repairs.

Volunteers to donate their time and effort to perform
minor tasks for needy people in the church and outlying
community.
