Moses
Ministry
It is
with great excitement that we "officially" launch
the MOSES MINISTRY. Just as Moses led his people
out of bondage, so we hope to provide Biblically based training
which will lead people of our church and community of of
Financial Bondage. You have been seeing "parts"
of it for some time, (Crown, Crossroads,
Pastor's Discretionary Fund) but now we feel we can be much
more impactful in the lives of our members and the community
with an integrated, intentional approach.
The
MOSES MINISTRY will consist of:
- Dave
Ramsey’s Financial Peace University
Get on the road to financial peace!! Financial Peace University
is a biblically based, video-driven small group study that
teaches families to beat debt, build wealth and give like
never before!
This program is for you if…
- Your credit
cards ARE your emergency fund
- Your dog
responds to the name “Ebay”
- You have
to sell your house to put your kids through college
- You want
to know what god says about money
Financial Peace
University will be offered at McEachern UMC beginning in
August. To learn more about the program, plan now to attend
a Class Preview on either August 16 at 6 pm or August 19
at 6:30 pm in F326 in the Christian Life Center at McEachern
UMC.
Fall classes will be offered on the following dates:
Sunday evenings
6 – 8 pm Aug. 23 – Nov. 29
Wednesday evenings 6:30 – 8:30 pm Aug. 26 –
Dec 2
The cost of the
course kit is $93 for each family unit. Couples (married
or engaged) are encouraged to take the class together but
it is open to individuals as well.
You

- Benevolence
Ministry (A Hand Up Not A Hand Out)
A
ministry to assist church members with financial challenges
to transform into great stewards. The ministry will
also assist and equip members into pursuing intimacy
with God, relationship with other members, and influence
with the community.
- Money
Map Budget Coaches (Trained Budget Counselors)
A
team of trained, volunteer, one-on-one coaches
- Crossroads
Career Network
A
place to discover God's calling, find or create the
right job, and grow in Christ.
- Practical
Financial Training
One
day, weekend, or short term workshops. Topics will include:
- Journey
to Financial Freedom
- Wills
- Estate
Planning
- Business
by the Book
- The
Treasure Principle
