Tanya
Ghoreishi was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. Her father’s
Air Force career took the family all over the world and they
settled in Smyrna. Tanya is a true “Cobb County Girl”.
She was educated from high school through college in Cobb
County and has served in ministry throughout the county since
1976.
She continued
her ministry training with the New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary. During this time she served as Music and Youth Minister
in local churches. She was on the Board of Evangelists for
the Southern Baptist Convention and served in full time Concert
Ministry. Her recording and concert ministry took her throughout
the country.
She continues
to speak at Women’s Conferences and other church events
in the area. She began serving with the Methodist church in
1987. Tanya has served on staff at McEachern U.M.C. as Minister
of Music since 1992.
Tanya
married to Abol Ghoreishi and they have one child, Jordan.
