Senior Adults

JOY Group

Just Older Youth (J.O.Y) is the nickname for the Senior Adult Ministry at McEachern
Memorial UMC. It is a ministry for and with all who have obtained the status of retiree, even though they might not be fully retired. Many J.O.Y. participants enjoy regular one-day trips to destinations within the North Georgia area.

Whether it is a trip to the mountains during the fall or a visit to the area’s historical locations, we always have fun as we travel and share a meal.

Macland Seniors

This is an outreach of our Senior Adult Ministry. All senior adults in the community are invited to join us! We gather the first Friday of every month, at 11:30 am in Lula Dobbs Hall, for a great meal and a program provided by people in the community. Lunches are Pot Luck so don’t forget to bring your favorite dish to share with everyone!
