Our men’s group meets on scheduled Wednesdays to learn TTBB music they will present during Sunday worship and other worship events.
This group meets regularly to learn music in the gospel style to present in the worship services and other worship events.
This group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in Oaks Hall. They play a 5-octave set of handbells and chimes and often play on Sunday mornings and for community events. Membership is open as space is available.
The Sanctuary Choir leads traditional worship each Sunday morning for the 9:30 and 11:00 am services. This choir is open to adults who feel a call to serve God through the musical gifts He has given them. The choir sings a wide variety of hymn arrangements and choral classics as well as more contemporary music. This group also presents several special programs throughout the year and sings for many community events. They meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. If you are interested in becoming a part of the Sanctuary Choir, you are welcome to join at any time during the year. Nursery is provided.
Our mission is clear – Glorify God through experiencing various Fine Arts genres and providing individualized and group instruction in the areas of instrumental and vocal music, dance, drama, and art with an emphasis on Christian principles. The McEachern Methodists Fine Arts Academy offers a variety of individual lesson opportunities throughout the year. The teachers employed by the academy are screened, undergo background checks, and are fully backed by FAA and MMUMC.
This music ministry scholarship fund was established in 2008 by the Sanctuary Choir to aid and encourage church members to further their education. It was named after Tanya Ghoreishi, the Minister of Music at that time. The choir wished to honor her contribution to the ministry of McEachern Memorial U.M.C. The scholarship will be awarded this year to a high school senior who is headed to an accredited college or technical/vocational school. You do not need to be pursuing a degree in the arts to apply for or receive this scholarship. It is subject to the following regulations:
