The Children’s Ministry at McEachern Memorial UMC is dedicated to serving and ministering to the children and families of this community. We believe children are important in God’s kingdom and are to be welcomed in His church.
It is our prayer to nurture each child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to be in partnership with families in guiding children and equipping parents in teaching their children to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Children have many opportunities to participate in programs and activities where they can feel God’s love and presence. It is our prayer that these programs will help guide and support families in their faith journey.
Children begin each Sunday with an engaging large group time of worship and discovery based upon the Bible lesson of the day before moving to small group study for a deeper dive.
We begin in the Sanctuary at 11:00 am. After the Children’s Moment, Kindergarten through 5th grade are dismissed for developmentally appropriate fun.
