McEachern Women

McEachern Women's Mission Statement:

That all women realize their God-given gifts and use those gifts to build one another up as strong Disciples of Christ. As we learn this, we will use these gifts to speak life and build up the Kingdom of God all around us by God’s grace and power (in our homes, places of work, friendships, families, and marriages).

McEachern Women On A Mission

Thank you, Ladies!  With your support and prayers almost $700 was raised in February at the bake sale to go towards airfare for those missionaries going to Dominican Republic in late April 2020!  Well done!

You may still contribute towards someone’s trip or drop off needed items such as tuna, chicken packs, fruit cups, peanut butter, non-glass jars of jam or jelly & granola or protein bars to Pastor April’s office.  Pray for the women being sent and those they are being sent to.

To be on mission with us locally complete the registration form by clicking the button below.

We will have local service opportunity (connected to a Great Day of Service – date pending) and other local mission opportunities this Spring and Summer.

Accountability Small Discipleship Growth Group

May 1, 2020, McEachern Women will be offered the opportunity to join a three person accountability discipleship growth group which will meet together off-site one hour a week for two (2) years. To sign up to be part of an accountability small group, register by clicking the button below.  Your group will decide the best location, time, and days to meet each week.

Participants are agreeing up front to split off from their small group at the end of two years and each pair up with two (2) other women who have not yet gone through this discipleship growth accountability experience and start again.  In this way, there will be continual growth and always an opportunity and place for women new to the groups to plug in and an easy way for every woman to invite others to grow.

This does not replace your current Bible studies, friend groups, or small groups.  It is a tool for developing very intentionally as a disciple and a tool to develop others as well.

2020 Community Missionary – Host Weekly Studies For Your Neighborhood

In late spring 2020, McEachern Women will be offered the opportunity to host a weekly or monthly Bible study in your home for the women in your neighborhood or workplace!  Training and materials will be provided.  If you are interested in receiving a packet, please sign up by clicking the registration button below.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and Mom’s Next is for mothers of first graders and beyond. We are a joint group existing to encourage, equip, and develop each mother in every stage of motherhood to her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. Women of all denominations as well as mothers who do not attend church are welcome! MOPS/Mom’s Next is open to moms with children of all ages as well as women who are pregnant.

Our MOPS and Mom’s Next group is a wonderful place to build friendships and have fun with other moms. We share our experiences, learn from one another, and support each other. In other words, it’s a playdate for moms! Members come from all walks of life, but share one desire—to be great moms. At McEachern Memorial MOPS and Mom’s Next, you’ll be welcomed, accepted, and inspired to reach your full potential and recognize your influence within your family and the world around you. You can reach us at mops@mcearchernumc.org or on Facebook.
